Unit 1 – Understanding the principles and practices of internally assuring the quality of assessment. This unit covers the knowledge and theory of quality assurance. This unit can be completed on its own if you just required the knowledge, or with the units below. Some awarding organisations only require you to have this unit certificate to be able to internal quality assure/verify the qualifications.
Unit 2- Internally assure the quality of assessment. This unit will qualify you to internally quality assure/verify qualifications and will give you the competency to do so. This is the most popular and common qualification you will need to work as an IQA or IV.
Unit 3- Plan, allocate, and monitor work in own area of responsibility. This unit will qualify you to plan internally quality assurance activities for other IQA’s and for an organisation. This will qualify you to work as a lead IQA or IV.
